Lourie Center for Children’s Social and Emotional Wellness Holds Ribbon Cutting for New Media Center

A group of people from the Lourie Center pose in the new media center

Asst. State Superintendent Marcella E. Franczkowski, together with Assistant State Superintendent of the Division of Early Childhood Steven Hicks and members of the DEI/SES Resource Management and Monitoring Branch, spent the morning with leadership, several board members, and students at the Lourie Center for Children’s Social and Emotional Wellness to celebrate the ribbon cutting for their new media center. Nearly all families have elected to send their students back to the Lourie Center School for in-person instruction, which has been open for three weeks and serves students five days per week. The DEI/SES team would like to thank Dr. James Venza, Executive Director of the Lourie Center, for a wonderful visit!
