Occupational and Physical Therapists Steering Committee

The mission of the Steering Committee is to provide leadership supporting statewide occupational and physical therapy practice on behalf of children/students birth through 21 by: 

  • Promoting strategic collaboration with families, MSDE, local school systems, public agencies and other stakeholders in the state of Maryland
  • Incorporating national trends and policies that impact statewide practice
  • Partnering with higher education and professional organizations.

Vision

Occupational and physical therapy practice in Maryland early intervention and school-based programs will  be an integral part of the learning community supporting developmental and academic growth, personal success and well-being of the child/student at home, school and in the community.
