To serve as a collaborative group for the purpose of information sharing, communication, professional development  and advocacy on behalf of students with visual impairments, birth through 21, and the professionals who serve them.

In Maryland, highly effective professionals will provide appropriate, consistent services and rigorous instruction while holding high expectations for students with visual impairments.
