Presented by Marcella E. Franczkowski, M.S., Assistant State Superintendent for the Maryland State Department of Education Division of Early Intervention and Special Education Services (MSDE DEI/SES) and Linda F. Bluth, Ed.D, consultant to MSDE DEI/SES on transportation matters for students with disabilities

Transportation services are key to having the capacity to provide a free appropriate public education (FAPE) for so many of our nation’s children with disabilities, an are fundamental in planning for the return of children with disabilities school safely.

This webinar provides a guidance framework supporting transportation as the vehicle to provide access to special education and related services, and a methodical thought process to make certain that transportation is not an obstacle but a positive route to return to school safely.
